Terms of Service

The rules of working together. Clear and straightforward.

Last updated: November 11, 2025

What This Means

These terms explain the rules for using our website and working with us. By using our services, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain language so you know exactly what to expect.

Our Services

We build Shopify stores. Specifically, we offer:

  • Complete Shopify store setup and configuration
  • Custom design and branding
  • Product catalog management
  • Payment and shipping setup
  • Email automations
  • Training and support

Our standard service is delivered in 21 business days for a fixed price of $7,500. The exact scope of work will be agreed upon before we start.

How It Works

Getting Started

When you book a strategy call and decide to work with us, we'll send you a proposal and agreement. Once you sign and pay the deposit (or full amount), we'll start work.

Payment

Payment terms will be outlined in your specific agreement. Typically, we require payment upfront or a deposit to begin work. All payments are non-refundable once work has started, unless we fail to deliver what we promised.

Timeline

We aim to complete your store in 21 business days. This timeline starts after we receive all necessary materials from you (like product information, branding assets, etc.). Delays on your end will extend the timeline.

What You Need to Provide

To do our best work, we need you to provide:

  • Product information (names, descriptions, prices, images)
  • Branding materials (logo, colors, fonts, style preferences)
  • Content for pages (about us, policies, etc.)
  • Access to necessary accounts and services
  • Timely feedback and approvals

If you don't provide what we need in a timely way, it will delay the project. We're not responsible for delays caused by missing information.

What You Own

Once we complete your store and you've paid in full, you own:

  • The complete Shopify store
  • All the work we've done
  • Full access to your Shopify admin
  • The right to modify, update, or change anything

You're free to do whatever you want with your store. It's yours.

What We Own

We retain the right to:

  • Use your project as a case study (we'll ask permission first)
  • Show your store in our portfolio
  • Reference our work together in marketing materials

If you don't want us to showcase your project, just let us know and we'll respect that.

Revisions and Changes

We include reasonable revisions as part of our service. However:

  • Major changes or additions beyond the original scope may cost extra
  • We'll discuss any additional costs before doing the work
  • After launch, ongoing changes are your responsibility (or you can hire us for additional work)

Support After Launch

We provide 14 days of post-launch support included in your package. This covers fixing any bugs or issues that come up. After that, additional support is available at our standard hourly rate or through a separate support agreement.

Third-Party Services

Your store will use third-party services like:

  • Shopify (the platform)
  • Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
  • Email services
  • Other apps and integrations

These services have their own terms and fees. You're responsible for understanding and agreeing to their terms. We're not responsible for issues with third-party services.

What We're Not Responsible For

We're not responsible for:

  • Your store's ongoing performance or sales (we build it, you run it)
  • Issues with third-party services or platforms
  • Changes you make after we hand over the store
  • Legal compliance issues (you should consult a lawyer for legal matters)
  • Data loss (you should back up your store regularly)
  • Security breaches (though we'll do our best to set things up securely)

Cancellation and Refunds

If you want to cancel:

  • You can cancel before we start work for a full refund
  • Once work begins, payments are non-refundable
  • If we fail to deliver what we promised, you'll get a refund for the undelivered portion
  • If you cancel mid-project, you'll receive any completed work, but no refund for work not yet done

We can also cancel the project if you don't pay, don't provide needed materials, or breach these terms. In that case, you'll receive completed work but no refund.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This means if something goes wrong, the most we'll owe you is what you paid us (and we'll do our best to fix it first).

Using Our Website

When you use our website, you agree to:

  • Not use it for anything illegal
  • Not try to hack it or break it
  • Not copy our content without permission
  • Respect our intellectual property

Changes to These Terms

We might update these terms from time to time. If we make big changes, we'll post the new terms here and update the date. Your continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms. For existing projects, the terms in place when you signed your agreement still apply.

Disputes

If we have a disagreement, let's talk it out first. We're reasonable people and want to solve problems. If we can't work it out, any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in the United States, unless we both agree otherwise.
